Subaru of America is seeking a detail‑oriented quality inspector to monitor vehicle build quality, PDI, and accessory installation processes performed by the port processor. You will audit, document, and report findings to uphold Subaru standards across SOA and SBR guidelines.

The role involves teardown audits, evaluating installation quality, and training processor staff on PDI procedures. A background in automotive port processing and strong attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in automotive port processing or related field.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to influence small groups and complete projects without supervision.
• Some Subaru knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts detailed vehicle inspections for total build quality and compliance with SOA/SBR standards and reports findings.
• Maintains knowledge of vehicle specifications, features, and model change history to assess quality concerns.
• Evaluates accessory installation compliance through observation audits.
• Performs independent teardown audits to validate complex installations, including wire harness routing.
• Verifies port PDI process compliance through observations and tests.
• Reviews quality concerns and assigns disposition with a customer‑focused approach.
