Mills Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Production Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Guest vehicles in our dealership service team. You will work on a variety of vehicles, following manufacturer procedures and dealership quality standards, with productivity driven by a flat-rate pay structure.

The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, routine maintenance, and efficient repairs, while staying current with tools and technology.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to diagnose vehicle concerns accurately.
• Experience working in a flat-rate environment preferred.
• Ability to efficiently complete repairs while maintaining quality.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Own basic hand tools required for the position.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Guest vehicles accurately and efficiently.

• Document all work performed on repair orders.

• Perform quality-control checks on completed repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle condition and repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Maintain and use tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Stay current with manufacturer training, technology, and repair procedures.

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday, and on designated Holidays throughout the year.

This position is paid a base Flat Rate for each hour produced and can earn additional incentives on top of the base Flat Rate pay. The starting Flat Rate range for this position is $19.00 – $28.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The additional incentives are an additional production Incentive and a Guest/Customer Service Incentive, both based upon performance.
