Röchling Automotive in Duncan, SC seeks a Specialist Production Planning to manage incoming orders, plan daily production schedules across Blow Molding, Offline Assemblies, Repack and Rework, and optimize inventory levels. The role emphasizes timely delivery, accurate scheduling, and cross-department collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production planning, preferably in automotive, with strong SAP and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years production planning experience (automotive preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience.
• Excellent computer skills, including SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage the incoming orders (IDOC, email, fax).
• Review and plan production schedules for Blow Molding, Offline Assemblies, Repack and Rework on a daily basis.
• Review exception messages daily and expedite accordingly; review MRP results for plausibility.
• Ensure production orders are planned to meet inventory requirements.
• Manage engineering changes for WIP and Finished Goods.
• Balance inventory levels to meet internal and external requirements while minimizing inventory.
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
• Minimize/eliminate need for premium freight.
• Ensure excellent communication with all departments.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers and inventory accuracy.
