Job summary

Walt Massey Auto Group in Mississippi is hiring a Porter/Driver to contribute to an exceptional customer and team experience. You will safely pick up and deliver vehicles, move cars between showroom and service areas, and help maintain the dealership’s inventory.

From day one you'll receive hands-on training, ongoing development, and opportunities for advancement, with competitive pay and benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and deliver vehicles for customers.
• Transport vehicles between showroom, service department, storage lots, and designated locations.
• Maintain the appearance and organization of dealership inventory.
• Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, parking areas, and off-site locations.
• Complete dealership errands as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including checking and topping off fuel and fluids, replacing batteries when necessary, and preparing vehicles for delivery.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from various property locations.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership environment.
• Support teammates with additional responsibilities as needed.
