Job summary

Murgado Automotive Group in Laguna Niguel, CA is seeking a dependable Porter/Greeter to join our dealership team. You will warmly welcome guests, help move and park vehicles, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience while supporting the Service Department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous dealership, porter, valet, lot attendant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles following dealership procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the Service Department promptly and professionally.
• Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles as directed.
• Assist customers with directions and service lane experience.
• Maintain an organized service drive and stay in vehicle staging.
• Handle customer vehicles with care per safety procedures.
• Keep lot and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Support shuttle and transport of vehicles and items.
• Assist Service Advisors and technicians with daily tasks.
• Communicate vehicle status and customer needs clearly.
• Ensure customer-facing areas are clean, safe, presentable.
• Help Service and Sales teams with additional duties as needed.

A reputable automotive dealership is seeking a dependable Porter/Greeter to join our team. In this role, you will welcome guests, assist with vehicle movement, support the Service Department, and help ensure every customer visit is efficient, friendly, and professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warm Welcome:Greet all guests entering the Service Department promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate team member or area.
• Vehicle Assistance:Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles as directed by the Service Department.
• Customer Support:Assist customers with basic directions, dealership amenities, and a smooth arrival and departure experience.
• Service Lane Support:Help maintain an organized service drive by keeping traffic flowing and ensuring vehicles are staged appropriately.
• Vehicle Care:Handle customer vehicles with care and respect, following dealership safety and driving procedures at all times.
• Lot Organization:Assist with maintaining vehicle placement, cleanliness, and organization around the service lane and customer areas.
• Shuttle and Transport Support:Assist with transporting vehicles, customers, or dealership items as needed and as assigned.
• Department Assistance:Support Service Advisors, technicians, and managers with daily operational needs.
• Communication:Communicate clearly with team members regarding vehicle status, customer needs, and service lane priorities.
• Cleanliness:Help keep customer-facing areas, service drive, and vehicle staging areas clean, safe, and presentable.
• Support:Assist the Service and Sales Departments with additional duties and tasks as needed.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous dealership, porter, valet, lot attendant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Ability to safely operate vehicles with both care and attention to dealership procedures preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles safely.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
