Job summary

Cable Dahmer Automotive Group in Lees Summit is seeking a dependable Service Porter to join our automotive service team. This entry point role offers hands-on exposure in a dealership setting and a clear path toward becoming a Lube Technician or Automotive Apprentice.

You’ll work with experienced technicians, help move and park vehicles, and support day-to-day service operations while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move and park customer and dealership vehicles safely.
• Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle movement and lot organization.
• Keep the service drive, parking areas, and work areas clean and organized.
• Help maintain an organized inventory of vehicles.
• Assist with basic vehicle cleaning and preparation.
• Provide friendly and professional support to customers and team members.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures.

Cable Dahmer of Lees Summit - KIA is looking for a dependable, hardworking Service Porter to join our automotive service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and being part of a team that provides an excellent customer experience.

This position is also an excellent entry point for someone interested in becoming a Lube Technician or Automotive Apprentice. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dealership environment, work alongside experienced technicians, and learn the daily operations of a professional service department.
