Daechang Alabama Inc. in Phenix City, Alabama seeks a Plant Manager to lead our automotive manufacturing operation and drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee engagement.

You will build high-performing teams, partner with executive leadership, and guide Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple departments while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred).
• Experience leading multiple functional departments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience managing customer relationships, audits, and executive-level meetings.
• Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Phenix City facility.
• Lead safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Develop high-performing teams and succession plans.
• Collaborate with Montgomery operation for growth.
• Champion continuous improvement and Lean practices across departments.
• Partner with customers through visits and business reviews.
