Job summary

XL Parts | The Parts House (TPH) is seeking a Store Stocker to join our Operations team in Texas. The role involves receiving and stocking automotive parts, reading orders, and preparing shipments in a fast-paced warehouse.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, good attention to detail, and solid computer skills. 0–3 years in warehousing is typical; overtime may be required. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma.
• Attention to detail.
• 0 to 3 years warehouse experience.
• Good to above-average computer skills.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures preferred.
• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Some overtime may be required.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Reads customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move or distribute.
• Conveys materials from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places them in pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing/shipping.
• Marks materials with identifying information and opens boxes, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Prepares parcels for mailing and shipment via common carrier.
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
