Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in California to deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs.

You will assist customers, maintain inventory, and promote products while working with a team to achieve store goals. The role requires flexibility in schedule and strong communication, with ASE certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Automotive knowledge preferred and communication skills essential.
• ASE Certification is a plus and helpful for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide expert advice.
• Maintain well-stocked inventory and keep the store organized.
• Promote sales, promotions, and drive store performance metrics.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes when applicable and suggest solutions.
• Follow safety policies and Loss Prevention procedures.
