Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and DIY service tasks such as battery installations and testing.

You will handle inventory processes, stock parts, and help customers both in-store and by phone. The position is full-time, with responsibilities including service excellence, meeting sales goals, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety docs.
• Proven sales ability and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
