Job summary

LaFontaine Chevrolet Plymouth is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership, coordinating with the Parts Manager and other staff. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to handle logistics efficiently.

The position emphasizes professionalism in the parts department, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to company policies while supporting a commitment to community and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors as coordinated with Parts Manager or related staff.
• Complete a delivery log and obtain recipient signature.
• Unload truck each night and turn in paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the parts department.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
