Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team in a busy dealership warehouse. With at least one year of experience, you will purchase, sell, take inventory of stock in storage and on shelves, and issue parts. Responsibilities include creating purchase orders, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate parts records. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass screenings are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of dealership warehouse experience and training.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly.
• Create and modify purchase orders.
• Issue purchase orders to the appropriate vendor to order parts.
• Record warranty parts returned.
• Notify ASM, technician, or client upon receipt of parts and update the system.
• Review order parts tracking.
• Process and close open invoices.
• Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity.
• Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued.
• Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory.
• Attend weekly department meetings.

• Create a particular ordered part he is on the dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician, or client upon receipt
• Review the particular order parts tracking
• Process and close open invoices
• Compare invoices against requisitions to verify the quality and quantity of merchandise received.

• Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory
• Attend weekly department meetings
