Job summary

Auto-Wares Group of Companies, a network of Auto Value Stores, is seeking a Full-Time Counter Person for our Romulus, MI location. You will greet customers, assist with parts lookups, process transactions, and learn leadership responsibilities while working with the store manager.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in automotive parts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of our company by establishing positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Conduct all activities using a customer focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in person communication, and more!
• Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
• Support our customers’ needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
• Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
• Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.
