The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work safely in an automotive shop environment. Lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional flexibility in schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience handling parts, tires and lubricants preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Order parts, tires, lubricants, and other items as needed.
• Open Purchase Orders, list parts on PO, add parts to shop RO.
• Manage all returns, credits, and place internet and all parts orders.
• Notify management of any supply issues and communicate via email/phone.
• Maintain parts rooms, tire storage areas, and workstation in a neat, organized manner.
• Follow safety PPE protocols and be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Operate computers and printers safely; learn additional ordering platforms as they are introduced.
• Punctual, neat and professional appearance; work with little supervision at times; flexible schedule.

AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ASSOCIATE

SUMMARY

Orders all types of parts, tires, lubricants etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as determined by

management.

• Orders parts, supplies, tires, lubricants, all other items as needed.
• Open Purchase Orders, list parts on PO, add parts to shop RO.
• Manages all returns, credits, place internet and all parts orders as needed.
• Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may result in a part supply issue or cause a change in the promised time. Ability to effectively communicate via email and phone.
• Maintains parts rooms, tire storage areas and workstation in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by current Hgreg, local, state and federal policies. Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in an automotive shop environment that may include a higher noise level than normal, around running and moving vehicles.
• Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to parts, lubricants and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
• Cooperates and assists other personnel in the ordering process and other duties as assigned.
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect parts and shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Operates all computers and printers in a safe and professional manner. Ability to learn additional ordering platforms as they are introduced.

Other duties may be assigned as determined by management.
