Altec is seeking an Automotive Painter – Off Shift to apply coatings to units and vehicles in a fast-paced, safety‑driven shop environment. You will work 2nd or 3rd shift, paint, prep, and finish surfaces while maintaining quality workmanship and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has automotive painting knowledge, experience with spray guns, and a commitment to safety. Altec offers training, competitive pay, benefits, and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive painting required.
• Knowledge in spraying high-pressure automotive body sealant and bed coatings.
• Proven finish painting skills, including mixing paints.
• Proficiency in spraying with paint guns required, electrostatic preferred.
• Skills in sanding and other automotive paint preparation items.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 2nd/3rd shift required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Knowledge of, and experience in automotive bodywork is helpful.

These associates will be responsible for painting all units and vehicles allowing delivery to the end customer! The successful candidate will have a well-rounded knowledge of automotive painting, good hand-eye coordination, and work effectively in a team environment.
