Job summary

Caliber Collision's West Bend Service Center is hiring an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties including color tint preparation, paint mixing, and ensuring OEM standards for application, curing, and masking removal. You will collaborate with body technicians to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in collision center painting, holds an Auto Body or ASE refinishing certification (preferred), and can lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix paints to OEM specifications.
• Ensure all paint operations meet OEM standards for application sequence and curing.
• Remove masking and reassemble disassembled parts prior to vehicle handover to body technician.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
