Caliber Collision's Service Center Plano - Coit Rd is hiring an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose paint duties, including tint preparation, color matching, mixing and applying coatings to OEM standards.

Masking, curing, and reassembly are required before returning vehicles to body technicians. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paint experience and ASE or Auto Body certification is preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations in a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color and mix formulations.

JOB SUMMARY

Service Center Plano - Coit Rd Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
