Job summary

Caliber Collision is hiring an Automotive Painter in Hyde Park, Utah. The role covers mixing paints, tinting to match OEM colors, applying coatings, curing and ensuring correct sequence and materials usage.

You will reassemble any disassembled parts and ensure all safety and quality checks are completed before the vehicle returns to the body technician. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in paint operations within a collision center and may hold an Auto Body or ASE refinishing certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations in a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, estimates and work orders.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint and mix paints to match OEM specifications.
• Perform paint operations, curing, masking, and reassembly per OEM guidelines.
• Ensure all masking is removed and prior paint work is completed before returning the vehicle.
• Maintain safety, accuracy and quality throughout the paint process.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
