Job summary

Caliber Collision Cedar Grove is hiring an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose paint duties in a fast-paced collision center. You will prepare color tint, mix paints to OEM standards, apply top coats, mask, cure, and reassemble prior disassembly before handoff to the body technician.

Requires 3+ years in paint operations; an Auto Body certificate or ASE refinishing certification is preferred. Benefits start day one, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paint operations experience in a collision center.
• Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare color tint to match paint color.
• Mix and formulate paints to OEM standards and proper formulations.
• Perform masking, top coating and curing per OEM guidelines.
• Reassemble any disassembled components and ensure readiness for return to body technician.

Service Center Cedar Grove JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Painter to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors and ensuring all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and materials usage, ensuring that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly have been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician.

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
