Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC in the United States, South Carolina, Charleston is seeking candidates for 2nd and 3rd shift manufacturing roles. You will prepare work areas, handle materials, inspect finished parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

Ideal applicants have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years manufacturing experience or a relevant certificate, basic hand/power tool skills, and willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience; OR Relevant certificate and 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: 3+ years of relevant experience; OR Relevant certificate and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Basic hand/power tool familiarity.
• Experience using buffers/sanders on automotive paint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workplace for manual activities.
• Retrieve materials, documents, tools, or supplies and maintain stock levels within min-max range.
• Seal interior and exterior seams.
• Spray or lay out PVC protection and sika with attention to surface quality of shell.
