Job summary

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and strict adherence to safety protocols and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in automotive paint application and repair.
• Experience painting, repairing dents, scratches, patching holes.
• Proficient with paint tools and spray systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English.
• Close attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Apply base coat, clear coat, and spot blend to vehicles (Paint Application).
• Perform bodywork (Bondo), sanding, buffing, glazing, and blending to ensure smooth surfaces (Paint Repairs).
• Use paint-related tools including DA Sanders, Orbital Buffers, Spray Guns, and Pneumatic Grinders (Tool Operation).
• Seal all seams and prepares all products properly.
• Inspect finished paint jobs for proper surface condition, color match, and finish quality (Quality Control).
• Meet production schedules while maintaining high quality.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those in contact on a day-to-day basis.
• Follow safety protocols, including hazardous waste disposal and proper equipment use
• Meet minimum standards of 5S per assigned department.
