Job summary

Caliber is hiring an Auto Painter Helper in Winston-Salem to assist in preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding and buffing, and to help maintain the paint booth and workspace. The role supports the Auto Painter to ensure an efficient workflow and safe, high-quality results in a production shop.

The position emphasizes hands-on training and opportunities for growth with state-of-the-art products and ongoing certifications (I-CAR, ASE).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Nice to have collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter
• Sand and buff as needed to prep surfaces
• Maintain paint booth and workspace for safe, efficient operation
• Assist Auto Painter to repair vehicles thoroughly and safely according to OEM standards

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to ensure efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing and maintenance of paint booth and workspace. Auto Painter Helpers will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
