Job summary

Cherokee County Toyota’s Collision Center is hiring a full-time Paint Prepper/Buffer to join our team. Enjoy a Monday – Friday schedule with no weekend work; we provide the buffer and all tools. You will prep damaged areas for painting, sand, buff, prime, and assist with masking and cleaning.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; you must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and pass background checks and MVR.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and analyzing the damaged areas to prep for painting.
• Vehicle prep including sanding, wet-sanding, buffing, and taping.
• Jamming parts and priming.
• Buffing fresh paint.
• Cleaning of all interior and exterior surfaces after completion of work.
• Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner.
