SWJ Technology is seeking a Packaging Specialist for a contractor role based in Vance, AL. You will implement, improve, and maintain packaging concepts for Body Shop and Assembly operations, supporting new vehicle launches and coordinating with suppliers across the U.S.

and Europe. Qualifications include a bachelor degree in Packaging/Industrial Engineering and 3-5 years in automotive packaging, with expertise in SAP, Excel, and documentation in enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of packaging planning, design, and automotive manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify packaging concepts for Body Shop and Assembly.
• Coordinate development, implementation, and validation of packaging concepts.
• Support packaging planning activities for Body Shop and Assembly operations.
• Coordinate packaging development based on BOMs.
• Drive packaging approvals with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Maintain packaging documentation in enterprise systems.
• Travel to supplier locations as required.
