Job summary

Cognizant's IoT Practice in Dearborn, MI is seeking a test engineer with hands-on experience in Software OTA updates, ECU flashing, and fleet updates.

You will perform stress, functional, and feature testing, and use testing tools such as Vector CANOE and CANALYZER, while managing defects with JIRA, GitHub, and SVN. This onsite role includes benefits and a compensation of $74,000–$84,500 per year plus COLA; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating Software updates and deploy Over-the-air (OTA).
• Experience in ECU Flashing, performing software updates via OTA, wire flashing and/or USB in a vehicle (fleet updates).
• Good Experience in In Vehicle Automation Testing, experience in Testing Tools like Vector CANOE, CANALYZER etc.
• Good Experience / Knowledge working on Issue management, Defect Management and Version Management tools like JIRA, Github, SVN etc.
• Experience Performing Stress, functional, feature & Core hotfix Testing for various modules in targeted time frame and runs.
• Validation experience in over-the-air updates for components 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI, HMI Modules
