Job summary

Krause Auto Group in the Southeast is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform light maintenance and repair at customers’ locations with a company‑provided vehicle.

This role focuses on independence, customer interaction, and a balanced work‑life model, avoiding heavy engine or transmission work while offering long‑term growth at a leading dealership with strong reputation and stability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience required.
• Experience with maintenance and light repair work.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance and repair services on vehicles.
• Complete oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, filters, and multi-point inspections.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify maintenance-related concerns.
• Recommend needed services based on inspections.
• Document repairs and communicate with service advisors and customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction.
• Represent Krause Auto Group professionally in the field.

What You’ll Do

As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll deliver high‑quality service directly to customers while working independently throughout your day.

• Perform light maintenance and repair services on a variety of vehicles

• Complete oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, filters, and multi‑point inspections

• Perform basic electrical and mechanical repairs

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify maintenance‑related concerns

• Recommend needed services based on inspections

• Document repairs and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers

• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction

• Represent Krause Auto Group professionally in the field

What You Bring

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred

• Experience with maintenance and light repair work

• Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the day

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and service equipment

• Desire to grow within the automotive industry

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
