Job summary

Caliber Auto Glass in Portland, OR is seeking a Mobile Auto Glass Technician Apprentice to learn and be mentored in replacement and repair duties. You’ll perform inspections, document orders, and handle trim removal with care, gaining hands-on experience in a production shop.

This entry-level role includes paid trainings (I-CAR, ASE), benefits from day one, overtime eligibility, and a path for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for Caliber’s insurance coverage.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have: Previous collision experience or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Replace automotive glass following quality standards and perform repairs as needed.
• Complete pre- and post-inspections with the customer and document repair orders on a mobile device.
• Remove and install trim panels and interior parts without damage.
• Prioritize and manage daily tasks in a production shop environment.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Auto Glass has an immediate job opening for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician Apprentice to learn and be mentored to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Replacement of automotive glass by following quality standards and ability to perform repairs on damaged glass, complete a pre and post inspection with customer, may utilize various tools and scanning equipment, complete documentation of repair orders on mobile device, ability to remove and install trim panels & interior parts without damaging, effectively prioritize and manage your time to complete assigned daily tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks

• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWNLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
