Job summary

The Boyd Group in Harvey, LA is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to interact with customers, test vehicles, diagnose systems, and perform repairs and calibrations.

You will manage invoices, inventory, and service documentation, with a minimum 4+ years of automotive/electronic tech experience; a high school diploma or GED is required; this is a full‑time role, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm; pay ranges from $60,000 to $95,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Must possess high school degree or GED.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools and wiring repair procedures.
• Able to service A/C systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives.
• Performs diagnostic testing, ADAS calibrations and analyses.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and verifies orders.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office.
• Keeps shop equipment operating and coordinates repairs with management.
• Collaborates with teammates to schedule and complete jobs.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Job Description:

The Automotive ADAS Technician’sprimary responsibility and accountability comprises customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoice generation, inventory control, and service vehicle maintenance. The Automotive ADAS Technician works in alignment with all team members and is committed to being a dedicated Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group at all times.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis
• Performs wiring repairs
• Advises shop of needed repairs
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices
• Collects signature or payment for work performed
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs
• Other duties, as assigned

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of OE scan tools
• Ability to learn new tools as needed
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures
• Ability to service A/C systems
• Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade
• Basic computer knowledge including using email, spreadsheet and messaging systems
• Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications and the like
• Must possess high school degree or GED equivalent
• 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience required

Compensation Details:

• Pay Range: $60,000 - $95,000 / Annually (hourly pay, eligible for overtime). _ Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. _
