Job summary

MavisTire in Titusville, Florida is hiring experienced automotive mechanics. Candidates will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and conduct a range of repairs on vehicles. The position also includes tasks such as changing oil, checking fluids, and tire services.

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices, a leader in the tire and automotive repair service field, is pleased to join the Titusville, FL area. We have multiple openings for experienced automotive mechanics technicians.

About the Position

As Mavis’s lead undercar repair specialists, Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Tasks include brakes, struts, and shocks, as well as completing state‑mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive personal tools used in undercar repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• State inspection license(s).
• ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Physical Demands

Mechanical duties require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
