Job summary

MavisTire is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service centers in Saint Amant, Louisiana. You'll be responsible for performing mechanical repairs, state-mandated inspections, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service.

About the Position of Automotive Mechanic

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform mechanical and undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and other components.
• Complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repetitive tasks, including lifting items over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.

• Extensive personal tool kit for undercar repairs.
• State inspection license(s) preferred.
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.
