Tuffy Tire is proud to join the Mavis Tire family. We're seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire centers in the Ypsilanti, MI area.

You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of services on customers' vehicles, including brakes and tire work. We offer competitive weekly pay with incentive compensation, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off and holidays, life insurance, and on-the-job

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Extensive personal toolbox of tools for undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts and shocks.
• Complete state-mmandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
