Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices - Automotive Mechanics in Gainesville, FL seeks a full-time Automotive Mechanic to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles at our state-of-the-art service centers. You will handle undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks and perform state inspections, oil changes, and tire mounting/balancing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s).
• Preferred ASE certifications G1, A4, A5.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Conduct undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Perform state inspections, change oil/filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
