Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring a full-time Automotive Mechanic in Port Orange, FL. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of vehicles, including brakes, suspension, and tire services.

The role includes performing state inspections, oil changes, and routine maintenance to ensure customer safety and vehicle reliability. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on repair experience, own a complete toolbox, and may hold a state inspection license or ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training.
• 1) Must be 18 years or older and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• 2) Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Perform brakes, struts, and shocks repairs and tire work.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and routine maintenance like oil changes.
