Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics in the Douglas, GA area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, soaks, tires and oil changes, with responsive inspections and maintenance.

Qualified candidates have 2 years of experience or training, own a toolbox, and are legally eligible to work in the United States. ASE certifications are preferred; training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
• be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs
• state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services including brakes, suspensions, and tires
• complete state-mmandated inspections and routine maintenance
• lift, dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires and perform oil/filter changes
