RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform automotive repair and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, and drivability systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostic equipment
• Complete repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Handle warranty repairs, recall repairs, and dealership service work
• Maintain high‑quality standards as an automotive technician or service technician

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, service technician, or auto tech
• All experience levels considered, including entry‑level technicians and master technicians
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
• Personal tools required
• Valid driver’s license preferred

SKILLS

• Automotive diagnostics, auto repair, and vehicle maintenance across gasoline and diesel engines, engine repair, engine performance, and tune‑ups
• Experience with automatic transmission, manual transmission, drivetrain and axle repair, suspension and steering systems, brake repair, electrical systems, and electronic diagnostics
• Skilled in HVAC systems, vehicle troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostic scan tools
• Experience performing automotive service technician duties in dealership service departments or independent repair shops, including warranty repair, recall repair, and vehicle inspections
• ASE certification in engine repair, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and engine performance is strongly preferred
