Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in West Point, VA to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet our high standards for safety and reliability. You’ll work with a skilled team using modern tools to diagnose issues ranging from engines to HVAC systems, gaining hands-on experience on both domestic and foreign vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) where required.
