Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles at our Waterbury-area centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a range of maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids.
• Replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Completing state inspections, where applicable.
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
