Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for our Glenside, PA locations. Join the nation’s largest automotive service organization and help keep customers safely on the road.

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform a range of maintenance and repair services at our service centers, with opportunities for career growth and a stable team environment.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
