Job summary

Pep Boys/Pep Boys Tire – Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our Pensacola, FL area service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and service vehicles to keep customers safely on the road, with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include brakes, suspension, tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and inspections where applicable. We offer competitive pay, weekly incentive compensation, plus benefits and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
Replacing worn or damaged parts
Completing state inspections, where applicable
Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
