Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles in the Charleston, SC area. Join a nationwide leader with 4,000+ locations, competitive weekly pay, benefits, and strong career growth opportunities.

You will diagnose and service vehicles, perform brakes, oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, and inspections, while upholding safety and quality standards. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred ASE Certifications G1, A4, A5 and state inspection license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive maintenance and repair services.
• Undercar work including brakes, suspensions, and steering components.
• Oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and part replacements.
• Complete state inspections where applicable and fit tires (mount/balance).
• Maintain high quality, safety standards and customer service.
