Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Round Rock, TX is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks, plus state-mandated inspections.

You will change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and handle tire mounting/dismounting and balancing. We offer weekly pay with benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair.
• Must possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s).
• Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Education

2 years automotive repair experience or training

State inspection license(s)

ASE Certifications (G1, A4, A5)
