Job summary

PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for our Port Rickey, FL service centers. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Eligible candidates should bring hands-on repair experience and a valid toolkit.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred ASE certifications including G1, A4, and A5.

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
