Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles at our Austell, GA service centers. Join a nationwide leader in automotive service and grow with a team focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

As part of Team Mavis, you’ll perform maintenance and repair services, from brakes and suspensions to tire mounting and inspections, with competitive weekly pay and incentives plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
