Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Lake Grove, NY area is hiring experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform brake, suspension, tire, and routine maintenance, and help customers stay safe on the road.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have personal tools necessary to perform automotive repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
