Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for its North Charleston area service centers. Join Team Mavis to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, including brakes, suspension, oil changes, tires, and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred: State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Responsibilities

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids.
• Replacing worn or damaged parts.
• Completing state inspections, where applicable.
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
