Job summary

Conexwest is seeking an automotive mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a shop setting. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure repairs comply with manufacturer specifications.

You will use diagnostic equipment and standard tools, explain findings to customers, and maintain accurate service records. The role requires safety awareness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive repair experience or technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and common mechanic tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer-related problems.
• Perform oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other routine maintenance.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and exhaust components.

• Explain repair needs and recommendations to customers or service advisors.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
