Job summary

Big O Tires is hiring an Automotive Service Technician in Nevada. You will perform inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable vehicles for customers.

This full-time role requires a valid NV driver’s license; ASE certifications are a plus, and you can expect a fast-paced environment with strong customer service expectations and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Automotive technician/Mechanic role with NV license required.
• Pre-employment drug screening, MVR and background checks apply.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance per MAP guidelines and manufacturers’ specs.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of service.
• Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
• As part of the Big O Tires team, spend much of the day performing tire and automotive service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Pay rate (6+ months experience)

• $25–$30 per hour base pay
• Up to 6% commission
• Typical combined earnings of $35–$52+ per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• Automotive Technician / Mechanic,
• Valid NV driver’s license
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
• Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check

• Can work in a team atmosphere & learn new tasks
• Have excellent communication & time management skills
• ASE Certifications in all related Automotive Service Fields a plus!
• Must have excellent attention to detail
