Job summary

Car-O-Liner offers a two-year apprenticeship designed to train and mentor you in the world’s largest measurement database, vehicle measuring data, and serviceability optimization. You will learn from experts and collaborate with OEM teams to influence design for repairability.

The role emphasizes vehicle structural knowledge, math skills, and CAD familiarity, with hands-on experience in mounting, clamping, and data validation across current and future models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in collision industry.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive collision repair services.
• 2+ years of experience in vehicle assembly/disassembly/repair in the collision industry.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to work closely with a mentor on a daily basis.
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly experience.
• Exposure to CAD is highly desired (CAD Software).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Automotive OEM teams to influence vehicle design for serviceability.
• Engage with global engineering teams on mounting/clamping for current and future models.
• Assist in creation and validation of vehicle measuring data for estimation and repair.
• Identify essential mounting fixtures and clamps to minimize need for specialized tooling.
• Support engineering and service teams to maintain industry leadership.
• Ensure products meet safety and quality standards.
• Participate in serviceability trials and benchmarking.
• Support review of Product Manuals and service information updates.
