Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive seeks a skilled Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles at our Bradenton location. You will work in a team, uphold safety and quality standards, and strive for guest satisfaction.

Required: 5+ years as a technician, proficiency with electrical and driveability diagnostics, and a professional, communicative demeanor. ASE certification is preferred, or plan to achieve it; manual transmission capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
• Excel at both electrical and driveability diagnostics.
• Capable of regularly meeting or exceeding book time without comebacks.
• Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest.
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
• Professional appearance and strong communication.
• A desire for long-term career development.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guestconcerns quickly and effectively
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
• Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
