Ray & Dana’s Inman Auto Care is seeking an experienced automotive master technician in New Jersey to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns and take pride in completing repairs correctly. You will perform advanced diagnostics, service engines, transmissions, brakes, and more, using professional tools and diagnostic equipment.

This full-time role emphasizes independent work, adherence to manufacturer procedures, and collaboration with a skilled service team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with modern vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with professional hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Domestic, Asian, and European vehicle experience is a plus.
• New Jersey State Inspection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs..
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, starting, and charging systems..
• Use professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment..
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety evaluations..
• Follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices..
• Communicate findings with the service team..
• Work independently while supporting and mentoring other technicians..

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional automotive repair experience..
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills..
• Experience with modern vehicle systems..
• Proficiency with professional hand and power tools..
• Ability to work independently and efficiently..
• Valid driver’s license..
• ASE Master certification preferred, but not required..
• Domestic, Asian, and European vehicle experience is a plus..
• New Jersey State Inspection experience is a plus..
